According to the Mirror, Tottenham's most trusted defender and some would say most valuable player, Toby Alderweireld, will miss Tottenham's biggest match; the North London Derby. Tottenham has been average at best of late, and with Harry Kane coming back they could use the Belgian to help stop an Arsenal attack that is on fire.
It is evident who three out of the four players in the back line will be, Kyle Walker at Right-Back, Jan Vertonghen at Left Center Back and Danny Rose at Left-Back. Now our Center-Back options is last year's breakout defender Kevin Wimmer who seems to be falling out of favor with Mauricio Pochettino. Then we have our young American Center-Back Cameron Carter-Vickers and the favorite to play Sunday, Eric Dier, who came to the club as a defender and has now converted to a defensive midfielder.
How Should We Line Up?
In my opinion, there are two ways to go about this; we can either play Eric Dier at Center-Back and play two Central Defensive Midfielders: Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembélé. Even though this seems like the likely option, I feel like against an Arsenal team that is flying high we need to set up more defensive. As we saw against Middleborough, Arsenal can sometimes have issues breaking down teams and can be vulnerable to the counter attack. If I were Pochettino I would line up like this:
Walker - Wimmer - Vertonghen - Rose
Dier - Wanyama
I know this is a very defensive style of play, but we can't take a chance against this Arsenal side. When we play them at White Hart Lane on April 29th, I hope we will be fully healthy, so we play more of an attacking style.
With Harry Kane likely to play, we have a chance to win this match. Even though it might not sound like it, I am extremely confident of our team's ability. If you want to tell us how you would lineup make sure to tweet us at DST_Tweets. Once again, thank you for the support.
As we look forward to another great week in the worlds' best European Club Competition, every team has played each other once and now it's time for the reverse fixture. We have three matches for you today which if combined can make you $81.41 out of only $10.
Last Week's Parlay
Paris Saint-Germain F.C. vs FC Basel - (-170)
PSG are looking to keep the momentum going as they visit Basel in the most important match of their season so far. PSG are slowly climbing back up the Ligue 1 table, and they need to get this win on Tuesday as they need to keep up with Arsenal who will no doubt win their match against Ludogorets. PSG need to look at players like Edinson Cavani and Ángel Di María to win in a place where some teams have trouble.
PSG Predicted XI:
Areola, Kurzawa, Silva, Marquinhos, Meunier, Motta, Matuidi, Veratti, Lucas, Di Maria, Cavani
Basel Predicted XI:
Vacilik, Suchy, Balanta, Lang, Traore, Steffen, Bjarnason, Zuffi, Xhaka, Delgado, Doumbia
Prediction: 2-1 PSG
S.L. Benfica vs Dynamo Kyiv - (-180)
Benfica is first in their Domestic League and now they try to beat Dynamo Kyiv for the second time this month which shouldn't be a challenge for them. Benfica isn't just a better team, but now they are at home which always helps a team who is already full of confidence. Since Kyiv is the worst team out of this group, if Benfica wants to go further in the Champions League they need to win this match.
Benfica Predicted XI:
Cesar, Grimaldo, Lindelof, Lopez, Nelsinho, Fejsa, Salvio, Pizzi, Guesdes, Mitroglou, Carillo
Kyiv Predicted XI:
Shovkovskiy, Silva, Antunes, Kharcheridi, Vida, Tsygankov, Gonzalez, Sydorchuk, Rybalka, Garmash, Yarmalenko
Prediction: 2-0 Benfica
Beşiktaş J.K. vs S.S.C. Napoli - (+270)
Beşiktaş is looking to do the double on Napoli as they look to go first in their group in what will be a close and hard match for the Turkish club. The biggest factor in this game will Cenk Tosun (Beşiktaş) get chances against a Napoli back line that has the capability to concede goals (as we saw in the 3-2 Beşiktaş win). Even though this match will be close, I think the Turkish Team will get it done and take the top spot in Group B.
Beşiktaş Prdicted XI:
Fabricio, Marcelo, Tosic, Adriano, Beck, Hutchinson, Inler, Ozyakup, Sahan, Tosun, Quaresma
Napoli Predicted XI:
Reina, Chiriches, Ghoulam, Hysaj, Koulibaly, Jorginho, Hamsik, Allan, Mertens, Insigne, Callejon
Prediction 1-0 Beşiktaş
This Match Day has many games that are landslides, but these three combined even though it might not be the biggest pay out, it will still make you some money to spend on an even better/more competitive mathes Wednesday of the Champions League. As always, if you want to get involved tweet us your Predictions at DST_Tweets
The MLS playoffs are finally upon us! Which means another way for all of us to make some significant money in the world of sports. As not just a gambler but a fan of the sport, I am so excited as the MLS has never had talent like this before. Many if not most of these games are absolute goal fests. In this blog, we will give you a parlay that if you ONLY put 10 dollars on it, you can make $117.34.
NY Red Bulls vs Montreal Impact - (+178)
The Red Bulls looks like a team to fear this postseason as they finish the season top of the Eastern Conference. They have a Silver Boot (most assists in MLS) winner, Sacha Kljestan and an MLS Golden Boot Winner (most goals), Bradley Wright-Phillips. The Red Bulls visit Montreal today and they could be without their main man Didier Drogba. The biggest factor for me in this match is, does the Impact have what it takes to stop BWP and the Redbull's high powered offense? No, they don't. Red Bulls will win easily.
NY Predicted XI:
Robles, Collin, Lawrence, Duvall, Perrinelle, Martins, McCarty, Kljestan, Wright-Phillips, Grella, Muyl
Impact Predicted XI:
Bush, Ciman, Cabrera, Camara, Oyongo, Bernardello, Piatti, Bernier, Donadel, Oduro, Mancosu
Prediction: 3-1 New York
LA Galaxy vs Colorado Rapids - (- 113)
The LA Galaxy host Tim Howard and the Colorado Rapids which will be an absolute battle. These teams were second and third in the Western Conference. The biggest factor for me is that the big players of the LA Galaxy be able to use their experience in big matches in the MLS and even abroad to get them a much-needed home victory. You can't take away the experience this team has and even though they have some aging players they still have the top skills. This will be close, but the Galaxy will just edge the match.
Galaxy Predicted XI:
Rowe, Steres, Cole, Damme, Rogers, Husidic, Lletget, Dos Santos, Keane, Donovan, Boateng
Colorado Predicted XI:
Howard, Sjoberg, Burch, Watts, Miller, Cronin, Jones, Azira, Gashi, Doyle, Badji
Prediction: 2-1 Galaxy
Seattle Sounders FC vs FC Dallas - (+143)
The Seattle Sounders host Dallas in the late match of the day in what should be an awesome game at CenturyLink Field. The stadium will be on fire since the Emerald City Supporters always bring it. The last time they played in Seattle the Sounders won 5-0. Even though I can't see that big of a blowout, Dallas can easily win the two legged playoff series due to their dominance over the Sounders at their stadium
Seattle Predicted XI:
Frei, Marshall, Mears, Torres, Jones, Friberg, Fernandez, Lodeiro, Alonso, Roldan, Morris
Dallas Predicted XI:
Seitz, Hedges, Zimmerman, Hollingshead, Figueroa, Harris, Acosta, Barrios, Gruezo, Rosales, Urruti
Prediction: 2-0 Sounders

As the Saturday matches are over, we had some exciting games, great goals, and of course another disappointing Tottenham draw. There were so many great performances today, so if you want to join the debate make sure to tweet and give us a follow at DST_Tweets.
Third Star: Alexis Sánchez - Arsenal F.C.
Sanchez had another great performance against Sunderland as he scored two goals, helping Arsenal win 4-1. With Giroud inconsistent and injured, Sanchez is constantly the player that wins matches for Arsenal. He's done it again as they keep their momentum going before the North London Derby. Sanchez finished the game with the Man of the Match and an incredible 9.37 Match Rating.
Second Star: Tom Heaton - Burnley F.C.
Tom Heaton was the main reason why Burnley was able to hold Manchester United at home 0-0. Tom Heaton recorded 11 saves in this match which led him to a 9.35 Match Rating and the Man of The Match award. Even though Manchester United fans will complain the officials unfairly treated them, you can't take away what Heaton did today.
First Star: Sergio Agüero - Manchester City
Sergio Agüero had another amazing match as he scored two goals against West Bromwich Albion as Manchester City stays top of the Premier League table. Sergio ended the match with two goals and a perfect 10 Match Rating which obviously got him Man Of The Match. With Harry Kane injured I think it's fair to say he is going to win the Golden Boot.
As we look forward to a big week ahead in the Premier League we have some special blogs coming up for the North London Derby. If you want to get involved, Tweet us and Follow us at DST_Tweets. Thank you
I thought I would take the day off of doing the Premier League Player Spotlight and do a Premier League Parlay but for the NHL games tonight. We have three games that if parlayed will be sure to make you some money to start your Halloween weekend.
Chicago Blackhawks vs New Jersey Devils - (-140)
Even though the Blackhawks are coming off of an overtime loss to the Flames, their play was still good enough to give them optimism against the Devils tonight. The Devils come into the game having an incredible home record as they are 3-0-0 to start the year but does their defense have the skill/speed to stop the Blackhawks forwards? No they don't, which is why I have the Blackhawks winning in a close game.
Prediction: 4-2 Blackhawks
New York Rangers vs Carolina Hurricanes - (-130)
The Rangers have been one of the most exciting teams in the NHL; they are constantly scoring a high amount of goals per game. The Hurricanes, on the other hand, might be able to score with players like Rask, Teräväinen, and Skinner but they don't have enough at the back to stop this high power Rangers offense. I see this one getting really ugly.
Prediction: 4-1 Rangers
Winnipeg Jets vs Colorado Avalanche - (+150)
The Jets are coming off an impressive 4-1 win against the Dallas Stars and are now showing they are an offensive force in the NHL with players like Blake Wheeler, Patrik Laine, Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers. Every Parlay needs an underdog, and they are the underdogs I am putting my money on tonight as they go up against the Avalanche. I am so confident I will give this the DST Lock of the Day.
Prediction: 3-2 Jets
Sorry this came out two hours before puck drop but I was dealing with our newest and very sexy logo for the site. If you want more Parlays check out our Premier League one we dropped today as well. Thank you for the support and good luck tonight!
As we look forward to a big weekend for the Premier League, it's time to do the world famous Premier League Parlay. This weekend we have three matches that are sure to make you big money. If you want any more specific betting advice for this weekend make sure to ask us at DST_Tweets on Twitter.
Watford F.C. vs Hull City A.F.C - (-135)
Watford host Hull City this weekend at Vicarage Road in what will be a match that Watford is expected to win. Watford is not just scoring goals but also stopping them. In their last five matches, they have ONLY conceded three goals. With Deeney and Ighalo on fire, Hull won't be able to compete as they are dropping down the table quickly. It won't be a blowout, but Watford will win easily.
Watford Predicted XI:
Gomes, Kaboul, Prodl, Britos, Zuniga, Pereyra, Behrami, Capoue, Holebas, Deeney, Ighalo
Hull Predicted XI:
Marshall, Elmohamady, Davies, Dawson, Clucas, Huddlestone, Meyler, Livermore, Mason, Henriksen, Hernandez
Predicted: 2-0 Watford
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. vs Leicester City F.C. - (-156)
Tottenham is coming off a disappointing week where they drew in the Premier League and lost against Liverpool in the EFL Cup. Tottenham at home will beat the ex-champions due to Leicester's poor defense. The only guy that poses a threat to Tottenham is Mahrez. Tottenham needs to use players like Son and Lamela for their width and beat the Leicester full backs. If they do this, they will win easily.
Tottenham Predicted XI:
Lloris, Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Lamela, Alli, Eriksen, Son
Leicester Predicted XI:
Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Amartey, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy
Prediction: 3-1 Tottenham
A.F.C. Bournemouth vs Middlesbrough F.C. - (+220)
Bournemouth is in great form as they are 10th in the Premier League and looked organized in their 0-0 draw with Tottenham. Bournemouth now goes to Middlesbrough in what will be a tight and rough match. Even though this is a close match to call, I think Boro does not have enough to break down an organized Eddie Howe side. Overall, I think with Callum Wilson and Jordan Ibe, Bournemouth will steal this game late.
Bournemouth Predicted XI:
Boruc, Smith, Francis, Cook, Daniels, Surman, King, Arter, Wilshere, Ibe, Wilson
Middlesbrough Predicted XI:
Valdes, Barragan, Chambers, Gibson, Friend, De Roon, Forshaw, Traore, Ramirez, Downing, Negredo
Prediction: 1-0 Bournemouth

As we look forward to Match Day 10 of the Premier League season, it's time to do our Premier League Player Spotlight. We have three players to make sure you bring home the bucks for the weekend ahead. Of course, if you want other ways to bring home the bacon this match day check out our Premier League Parlay that comes out every Friday.
Note: All Saturday Fixtures besides the early kick off (Arsenal vs Sunderland)
David de Gea (G): Manchester United - 5,900
David Gea and Manchester United are coming off a fantastic win against their rivals Manchester City in the EFL Cup which will help ease the pain of the awful 4-0 Loss to Chelsea on Match Day 9. David Gea and the Red Devils now go up against Burnley at Old Trafford in a match where there will be most likely being getting the win and a clean sheet. Everyone knows how hard it is to break down a José Mourinho side and especially with the minimal talent Burnley have. De Gea is a great pick for your Daily Fantasy Squad.
Troy Deeney (M/F): Watford F.C.: 6,900
Troy Deeney and Watford host Hull City which could get really ugly for Hull. Hull may have won in their EFL Cup match on Tuesday against Bristol City, but they are still being thrashed in the Premier League (which is what counts). Hull City has conceded 22 goals this season (league’s worst), and I can’t see them being able to stop Deeney and Ighalo. The reason I went with Deeney over the Nigerian was that in Daily Fantasy he can play Midfielder and Forward which is important.
Raheem Sterling (M/F): Manchester City - 7,800
Raheem Sterling and Manchester City go up against West Brom away from home in a match that Sterling will thrive in. As we saw the last two weeks West Brom doesn’t do well with speed. When Son for Tottenham came on he caused many problems and same with Liverpool’s Sadio Mané last week. Sterling will be the focal point of Manchester City’s midfield since KDB probably won’t play due to an injury. With them losing to Manchester United on Wednesday they will want to get back to winning ways and Sterling will help them do that.
Tomorrow of course we will have the Premier League Parlay, next week we have some awesome stuff coming for the North London Derby so get excited for that. Thank you for the support and don't forget to Follow us at DST_Tweets.
As we look forward to another night of NHL Hockey, we have four games with the marque one the Rangers against the Bruins. We will have one player per each position to make sure that you can make some money with whatever daily fantasy platform you like.
Henrik Lundqvist (G): New York Rangers - 8,200
Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers go up against the Boston Bruins as the big matchup of the night as it is Wednesday Night Rivalries. Henrik Lundqvist has started the season well even though he is letting in 2 to 3 goals a game. Once again the most important thing for a goalie to do is to win and against a Bruins team that are without their two top goalies and coming off a battering last night by the Wild I only see this going one way.
Henrik Lundqvist's Career Stats vs the Bruins: GP: 37, W:23, L:12, GAA: 1.95, .935
Jeff Petry (D): Montreal Canadiens - 4,400
Jeff Petry and the Montreal Canadiens go up against the New York Islanders at the Barclays Center. The reason I am picking Petry is pretty simple; he's a cheap d-man who is playing extremely well. Besides Burns, Subban, Karlsson and a few more, you don't hope for much with your d-man but when you can get a guy for less than 4.5k who has 4 points in 5 games, by God you take it!
Jeff Petry's Career Stats vs the Islanders: GP:10, G:2, A:1, +/-: 10
Josh Bailey (W): New York Islanders - 4,700
Josh Bailey and the Islanders go up against the Canadians at home, and the winger is going to have a big game. With Al Montoya playing I think players like Bailey and Islander captain John Tavares will have big scoring nights. Of course, with Daily Fantasy, price is a significant factor and just like with Jeff Petry when you get a guy who is constantly wracking up points for such a little price it's almost a must to take him. Look for him to get some major points tonight.
Josh Bailey's Career Stats vs The Canadiens - GP: 27, G:3, A:10, PPP: 4, SHG:1
Mika Zibanejad (C): New York Rangers - 5,900
Mika and the Rangers go up against a depleted Boston Bruins team without their top two goalies. The Rangers have missed a lot of opportunities and should have a better record but the speed by the Rangers will be way too much for the Bruins and Mika will be the biggest trouble for the visiting team. Mika will get a goal; it's our DST Lock of The Day (Patent Pending).
Mika Zibanejad Career Stats vs The Bruins - GP:18, G:6, A:3, GWG:1
Only four games still won't stop us as we push on to help you guys make some money tonight. If there are any other players you want some advice on, make sure to Tweet us at DST_Tweets. Thank you
As the Premier League is slowly taking shape as we move into the final match day of October, it's time to assess the players of the Premier League, and no one is being assessed more than the most expensive footballer/soccer player of all time, Paul Pogba. I said in one of my first blogs EVER (warning, pretty shitty stuff but yeah, shameless plug) he isn't worth anywhere close to the 100 million price tag put on him. As a Spurs fan, I remember seeing Gareth Bale terrorize the Premier League every weekend as he played by himself most games as he earned the right to be the world's most expensive player (until Pogba) but Pogba hasn't even shown he deserves to sniff Gareth Bale's jock strap.
By the Numbers
Paul Pogba Stats - 2015/16 (All Competitions)
Games Started: 48
In Game Sub: 3
Average Match Rating (Just for Serie A and UCL): 7.71
Can Pogba Keep up With the Premier League Competition?
The short answer is no. One of the main reasons why the Serie A is not a top three league is because how grossly unbalanced it is. When you play on Juventus, you know deep down with the team you have (and the teams around you), most games will be guaranteed wins. Which means you can focus on more challenging games like Champions League matches and the occasional derby, but like we all know by now you can't do that in the Premier League. Even last year in Serie A Paul Pogba ONLY had eight goals, and the average league position of those teams were 12.5. By these numbers, it shows that Paul Pogba maybe is so more suited for a League/Competiton that is more focused on a couple of crucial matches instead of high intensity every weekend. As we even witnessed a couple of days ago when Manchester United played against Chelsea how lost/disinterested Paul Pogba was when his team was being embarrassed by a bitter rival. I am not saying Pogba is bad but when you are on one of the powerhouses of world football (Juventus) only scoring eight goals isn't that impressive.
Is It José Mourinho's Fault?
Absolutely Fucking Not. Even though Pundits and Journalists talk about how he is being played too deep in the midfield for him to fully thrive, if a player who is worth 100 million shouldn't he be able to play more than one position? Look at Gareth Bale, for his last year at Spurs he played Left Mid, Left Wing, Central Attacking Midfielder, Center Forward, Right Mid, Right Winger and even Full Back. The Premier League has evolved, the game isn't just about skill it's about player versatility. A player who can play three or four positions is more valuable than a player who can just play one.
I know some of you might not agree with me (especially Serie A fans who don't want to admit they aren't on par with the EPL, La Liga, and the Bundesliga) but he isn't world class and has been a massive disappointment, and Manchester United fans should be beyond upset. The English Journalists like to say he's world class because since Gareth Bale and Luis Suárez left we have been waiting for more world class players to join our league (we do have some but not enough).
If you want to join the debate comment or follow us and tell us your take on Twitter at DST_Tweets. Thank you for the support and enjoy the EFL Cup Matches today!
It's great to be back doing the Draft Kings Player Spotlights as we have another night full of NHL hockey. The past two days we didn't do a post due to the small number of games, but we did two great blogs about adding and dropping players for your Fantasy Hockey Teams (links are below). For tonight, we have one player for each position that you NEED to get if you want to make some money tonight with Daily Fantasy.
Peter Budaj (G): Los Angeles Kings - 7,700
Peter Budaj is now the Kings starting goalie after their top two goalies were injured (Quick and Zatkoff). Budaj and the Kings go up against the Columbus Blue Jackets in which will be an easy win for the Kings. The Blue Jackets under John Tortorella have been disappointing, and they will continue to be. I wouldn't expect a shutout, but he WILL get you a win.
Career Stats vs The Blue Jackets: GS: 13, W:8, L:5, SO:1
Rasmus Ristolainen (D): Buffalo Sabres - 6,200
Rasmus Ristolainen have started the season very well and now his team goes up against the Flyers which will be an open and high scoring game. The Flyers have very bad goaltenders which will help the Sabres' star D-man get some assists and even a goal. With Five assists to start the year he is always a worry for the opposition, the Sabres might not win, but Rasmus (first name basis) will get you some crucial points.
Career Stats vs the Flyers: GP: 7, A: 3, PPA: 1, SOG: 17
Zach Parise (W): Minnesota Wild - 6,600
Zach Parise and the Wild go up against the Bruins in what will be an easy win for the Wild. The Bruins top two goalies are injured so they will need their third or even fourth string goalie to step up. The Wild will take advantage of the Bruins already shaky defense, which is why Parise getting a goal tonight is my DST lock of the day (patent pending of course).
Career Stats vs the Bruins: GP:30, G:8, A:11, PPP:6, GWG: 2
Logan Couture (C): San Jose Sharks - 6,200
Logan Couture and the San Jose Sharks go up against the Anaheim Ducks at home in a game that is pretty much certain to be a Sharks win. The Ducks have let up 16 goals this season which is less than the Sharks but the Sharks can make up for it with their powerful forwards which will be too much for the Ducks. With Logan Couture playing well with five points so far this season he is bound to have a great game against an average opposition.
Career Stats vs the Ducks: GP: 28, G:10, A:10, PPP: 4, SHP:2, GWG: 1
Remaining Salary: 23,300
Another amazing choices for your Daily Fantasy needs, if there is anyone else you are thinking about picking make sure to tweet us at DST_Tweets. Thank you for the support and good luck!
