Washington Capitals @ New York Rangers - (-110)
Well, I guess we need to start with the news that the Rangers lost out on the Kevin Shattenkirk sweepstakes as the Capitals swooped in to go all in for the Stanley Cup this season. The Capitals now have five great defensemen and Shattenkirk will add to their offensive prowess (and their group of players with shit hair). Of course, he will play tomorrow night at the Garden to make the Ranger fans more depressed about losing out on the player who seems to love New York. The Rangers should still be confident as their King Henrik Lundqvist is 2-0 this season against the caps with a 1.50 GAA and is 7-2-1 this month. After a rough spell, the Rangers look back to their best with Nash, Miller, and Zibanejad firing the puck with amazing passes from defensemen like Ryan McDonagh and Brady Skjei. I think this will be a must watch but I think the Rangers will keep their hot streak going and win.
Colorado Avalanche @ Philadelphia Flyers [-1.5] - (+145)
Both of these teams are having a pretty shit go of it but now that the Flyers can go up against the worst team in the NHL in the Avalanche, they should go into this with high hopes. The Flyers are 8-3-2 at home this season against the Western Conference and 8-3 as the favorite which for a team that has been inconsistent is pretty great. I will keep this short and say the Avs are just too poor at the moment and the Flyers usually play well at home against the West. This should be the easiest pick of the night.

We had a wild weekend of English Football as we had a cup final, hat tricks, shock wins and of course, the weekly disappointing draw for West Ham fans. We are here to give you the three best performances from this weekend!
Note: Just from the Premier League matches so don't come here looking for Zlatan Ibrahimović okay United Fans?
Third Star: Idrissa Gueye - Everton F.C.
When you look around the league this week some player scored more goals than Idrissa Gueye, and maybe had better match ratings but he was arguably the most crucial player for his team this weekend. The Everton midfielder had two dribbles, five successful tackles (most on the pitch), a goal and had 9.4% of Everton's possession. Even though these stats might not stand out like Vardy's or others but if you watched the Everton match there is no way they win without the deep lying passes and movement of Gueye. I know some people will call me a "Vardy Hater" for picking him over the strker but I dare you to rewatch the game. He deserved his 9.3 match rating and of course, the Man of the Match.
Second Star: Cesc Fàbregas - Chelsea F.C.
With how well Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are doing some Chelsea players have been forgotten and criticized this season for flying too "under the radar". One of those players is Cesc Fàbregas. Cesc has been rumored to be on his way out of Chelsea as many pundits believe he is way past his best and isn't a top class midfielder anymore. Whether or not you think this is true, there is nothing to give the Spaniard but praise this week as he pretty much dragged Chelsea across the finish line against a tough Swansea team. With five chances created, one assist, a goal, an 85 passing percentage and even two interceptions, Cesc was world class in this game which is why he fully deserved his match rating of 9.28 and the Man of the Match.
First Star: Harry Kane - Tottenham Hotspur F.C.
Tottenham's Harry Kane once again showed the world he is an elite striker as he notched a first-half hat trick and an assist in Tottenham's 4-0 win over Stoke. Harry Kane missed two months this season with an injury and after this weekend he is tied at the top of the Premier League in goals scored with 17. This weekend was the exact reason why I believe Harry Kane is world class, he created two chances (where he got one assist), two successful take on, six shots (he was unlucky to only score three honestly), an interception and a 92% passing percentage. After a tough week in the Europa League, Tottenham needed this win, and when Tottenham need a win, Harry Kane usually delivers. He ended the match with PERFECT 10/10 match rating. What a fucking player.
Boom! It's so great to be back doing this! If you agreed with our picks or even if you disagreed, make sure to show us some love by following us on Twitter at DST_Tweets!
This weekend is the first Cup to win in England for the year in the EFL Cup (also known as the Tin Pot Cup, for fans on Twitter whose clubs didn't win it). This year we have José Mourinho's Manchester United against Claude Puel's Southampton. We are going to go through the odds, props and everything so you know who is going to win and of course, who to put your hard earned money on this Sunday!
Manchester United F.C.
Premier League Position: Sixth Place
Form (All Comps): DWWWWW
José Mourinho will go for his typical "chase for the EFL Cup" as the Red Devils go into this match in amazing form as they are riding high in the Premier League, advancing to the next round of the FA Cup and also going through in the Europa League. The key players in this match for the Red Devils will be, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Paul Pogba, and Anthony Martial. I know I picked all attacking players but Manchester United have a GOLDEN ticket to get a trophy as Southampton are without Virgil van Dijk and let's be honest without him and José Fonte (transferred to West Ham) it should be easy for these high-quality players to batter Southampton.
De Gea; Valencia, Blind, Mojo, Shaw; Herrera, Pogba; Mata, Rooney, Martial; Ibrahimovic
Premier League Position: Eleventh Place
Form (All Comps): WLLLWW
Southampton may be having a rough season in 11th place but of late they have been improving especially going forward with their new striker Manolo Gabbiadini. Even though he looks like someone who is coming off a 10-day binge on nothing but cocaine, he has been a revelation with three goals in two games. For Southampton to shock England and get this win they will have to heavily rely on their two center backs in Stephens and Yoshida to have the games of their lives. Also, they won't have many chances so all of the pressure will fall on Gabbaidini and Tadic to make sure no chance go without testing David De Gea.
Forster; Soares, Stephens, Yoshida, Bertrand; Davis, Romeo; Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Redmond; Gabbiadini
Southampton - [+325]
Draw - [+235]
Manchester United - [-136]
Over (2.5) - [+125]
Under (2.5) - [-145]
So I think for this, you need to go with the over. Since the "New Wembley" was opened in 2007, six of the nine finals have been over the 2.5 goals mark. Due to this stat, it does seem that the game is most likely to have goals or go to extra time. Also, with Manchester United have the tendency to look inconsistent at the back and Southampton with a very sub-par Center Back pairing against Zlatan and others this game more than every other is the perfect "betting the over" situation.
I feel good about this pick, last time I did one of these I perfectly predicted the North London Derby and I am as confident as I was in this blog that the winner of the EFL Cup will be Manchester United! Southampton will have an uphill battle without Virgil van Dijk and I just can't trust Yoshida and Stephens to stop the monster that is that Manchester United's forward three. I really do want the Saints to shock the world and win but, they won't, Manchester United to be victorious 3-1.

After taking some time off to have the FA Cup, the Premier League is back with an action-packed weekend as we have eight games to preview! We are here to tell you not just who will win but who are the best bets for this weekend. Of course, we also have a Cup Final to preview, but that will get its own blog!
Premier League Table Going Into This Weekend.
Sunderland A.F.C. @ Everton F.C.
It's the David Moyes derby this weekend as the bottom of the table Sunderland goes to Everton in a game which will display two of the top Premier League strikers this season in Romelu Lukaku and Jermain Defoe. Both of these teams have defenses that can be opened up but Sunderland is just so poor. When Everton are at full force with Lukaku, Barkley, and others they are a team that can really hurt you. I think this game will be close but Everton is just too good up front for Sunderland who has proved time and time again they just can't cope with good offensive teams. Everton to win 2-1.
A.F.C. Bournemouth @ West Bromwich Albion F.C.
The struggling Bournemouth go to West Brom in a match where both teams are on the opposite spectrum on the form table. West Brom had a last minute equalizer against West Ham in their last match as they once again showed their skill and most importantly, their determination and character. Bournemouth is coming off a 2-0 loss to Manchester City as it was their fourth loss in their last five. This is pretty simple, West Brom is just so much better and especially when you look at the away record table as Bournemouth have only eight points away from home all season. Tony Pulis will once again push on for his chance at Premier League glory as West Brom will win comfortably 3-0.
Middlesbrough F.C. @ Crystal Palace F.C.
Crystal Palace: [+109]
Middlesbrough go to London in a match that is a must-win for the home team as Crystal Palace need to get out of their funk quickly if they want any chance at survival. Palace has one win in five matches and are the bottom of the Premier League in home form with only seven points and a goal differential of -7. This is a huge issue as Middlesbrough are decent away from home. Even though they only have nine points they have only conceded 13 goals on their travels which isn't too bad. I see Big Sam going hard for this one but I just can't trust Crystal Palace to do anything. 1-1 Draw.
Burnley F.C. @ Hull City A.F.C.
Hull City: [+116]
Burnley have been amazing at home but absolutely shit away from it. Now they travel to Hull City that seems like they can actually be saved this year as Leicester, Sunderland and Crystal Palace are all in turmoil. Hull are coming off three impressive matches as they drew to Manchester United, beat Liverpool (at home) and were cheated by the officials against Arsenal. Taking into account Hull City's form and Burnley's form away from home I see this being a close match but Hull City will win 1-0.
Swansea City A.F.C. @ Chelsea F.C.
Hull City: [+376]
Swansea will try to repeat the last time they went to Stamford Bridge as they try to distance themselves from the bottom three. Chelsea has a huge lead on Manchester City and Spurs and now with City not playing this weekend, this would make it a massive lead as their make up game is against Manchester United. I think this game will be tough for Chelsea but I just think are just too good and they realize how big of an opportunity it is. Swansea will score, though, but sadly, it will end 3-1 to Chelsea.
West Ham United F.C. @ Watford F.C.
West Ham: [+200]
West Ham and Watford meet in a battle of mid-table clubs as with a win Watford will go over West Ham United in the table. West Ham is coming off an awful draw to West Brom as they conceded in the last minute of play. Watford is always a tough team to read due to their inconsistent attack and awful goal keeping. I would stay away from this one. A draw is pretty much a guarantee in that match, 1-1 this will end.
Stoke City F.C. @ Tottenham Hotspur F.C.
Tottenham tries to save their week after Dele Alli's leg breaking challenge drove them out the Europa League in the round of 32. Now Tottenham focus to get back on track as they host Stoke City as the final year at White Hart Lane is quickly coming to an end. Tottenham are playing well but aren't scoring as much as they should but against Stoke (who they battered in the reverse fixture) are inconsistent and show they are mentally weak sometimes. I think Spurs will go full out to get these MASSIVE three points and I think they will, I don't trust them to do it convincingly though. Tottenham to win 1-0.
Liverpool F.C. @ Leicester City F.C.
A couple of days ago I wrote a blog about what Leicester should do with Claudio Ranieri and shockingly, they sacked him days after, so now they are still shit at the back and going forward but now without a manager. Now they host Liverpool who is offensively dangerous and ready to pounce on this dying club. I will keep this straight, I think Liverpool will destroy, full out destroy Leicester. Liverpool to win 3-0.

We are back with another Thursday of Europa League fun as we have games across the board which mean there is money to be made. We have two games for you to get excited over to make sure you make some money this beautiful Thursday!
K.A.A. Gent @ Tottenham Hotspur F.C. (-1.5) - [-110]
Tottenham had a rough away day to Belgium as they lost the first leg 1-0. Now they go Wembley Stadium and host Gent in a game where they need at least two goals to go through. With the FA Cup and the Europa League being the only real trophies Spurs can win this season I see Mauricio Pochettino going full out with the line ups. During the last game, Gent's back line looked leaky and poor but sadly for Spurs, they couldn't beat it but now with Kane, Winks, and Eriksen looking superb, they can really get at this team. You also need to take into account the size of the pitch at Wembley which will make this game more open for Spurs' wing backs to go forward. I see this game being close but I do think Tottenham will just edge this game and advance with a 2-0 win.
Villarreal CF @ A.S. Roma - [-130]
This is pretty much over, Roma won 4-0 away from home as it's fair to say the Italian team will win. Roma will now try to just glide to end of the tie as so many of their players are in great form. This is pretty simple, Roma is on fire with players like Edin Džeko, Radja Nainggolan, and Mohamed Salah. They are just on another level and they will once again win and comfortably.

Five: The Player Manager Embrace - Soccer
Nothing says "I love you coach" like a gorgeous hug after scoring and running at least a quarter of the pitch to celebrate with him (or her). Sadly, there aren't many sports where you can do this but when this happens it is awesome. Also, fans fucking love it, it shows the team has unity and the players respect the big man running the show. Sometimes too, you get the awful player to coach moments too like the one Robin van Persie had at the 2014 World Cup as he gave his manager one of the most awkward and uncoordinated high fives (ironically after one of the goals of his career).
4. The Spike - Football
Ahh the Spike, how electric, even though the first spike was years ago no one has perfected it more than New England Patriot's meat head Rob Gronkowski. As someone who has the power of a prepubescent 14-year-old, the idea of being able to spike a ball this hard and be so dominant is mind blowing. The is the ultimate "I'm here to fuck shit up and you can't stop me" celebration and no matter what team you like you need to love/respect the spike. Gronk is so good at spiking he even broke a hockey puck in half doing it. As I now have the shoulders of a 50-year-old, I will probably never Spike in my life but I am glad that a man has conquered the Spike. God Speed Gronk, God Speed.
Three: Basketball Bench Reactions - Basketball
Another thing I am envious is about is the amazing and entertaining celebrations on the NBA Bench! As someone who never played Basketball it always was a dream to be able to hit a three pointer or dunk and have my entire bench go apeshit, sadly, I can't jump high enough to even touch the rim (even at 6 feet and 2 inches) or hit a shot but if I could this would be on my bucket list. I fully believe these celebrations are sometimes better than the games its self. This had to be on the list, end of story.
Two: The Knee Slide - Soccer/Hockey
The Knee Slide is one of the most beautiful arts in the world of sport. To pull it off it's beautiful and fluid but if you fucked up you can end up with busted knees and a bruised ego. Up there are my two favorite knee slides ever, one after a clutch last second goal and a Champions League winner. The amount of passion these guys have are second to none, as someone who played hockey and soccer I always dreamed of being able to do this but then again, I am not cocky enough and definitely not good enough to try this. Also, this may be the only celebration that even the bad ones are amazing.
One: The Bat Flip: Baseball
Boom! Number one is the epitome of cockiness and pure ELECTRICITY, The Bat Flip, nothing is better than seeing your team getting a huge home run with the crack of the bat and seeing your player flip the bat to the sky. Everything about it is perfect if you ask 100 people I am SURE of most people would want to experience a bat flip more than anything else on or off this list. From José Bautista, Yoenis Céspedes and to Yasiel Puig have you ever seen a bat flip that you didn't think "wow, I wish that was me?" You might think Baseball is boring but Bat Flips sure as hell aren't!

Montreal Canadiens @ New York Rangers - [-137]
As the Canadians travel to MSG to face the Rangers this game is a real tale of opposites in the last ten games as the Rangers are hot with a 7-3 record (5-2 at home) in their last 10 games, and the Canadians are an awful 2-7-1 with an away record of 1-4. Even though the Canadians don't look great of late they still are a playoff contender with their strong goaltending and a strong four lines. Another big factor is that the Canadians are only 5-8-3 as the underdog all season which could be something to be worried about if you are betting on the team from up north. This game will be close due to these match ups usually are close but due to the form of both teams, I have to go with a win for the New York Rangers.
New York Islanders @ Detroit Red Wings - [-103]
The Red Wings try to build on their massive win over the Penguins as they host the New York Islanders in a huge clash for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. The biggest stat that is shining is that the Islanders are 1-4 in away games in their last ten overall and the Wings are 2-2-1 at home in that time. Another huge stat to look at is that the Red Wings are better with both special teams in their ten which could be the biggest factor as both of these teams are pretty close and even. I see this being very close but with the Islanders having some injuries and their poor form away from home I think the Wings will JUST edge this.

After another disappointing weekend with Leicester losing in the FA Cup to a 10 man Millwall, there are many questions to ask of Leicester. Whose fault is it? How good are Vardy and Mahrez? Should Claudio Ranieri be sacked? And most importantly, will Leicester get relegated? Luckily, DST is here to answer all of the questions and more!
Question One: Why Is This Happening?
I believe the reason Leicester is struggling is that they are completely one-dimensional. Last season Leicester utilized very few tactics besides the route-one ball to Vardy; they benefited greatly from other teams failing to adapt to Leicester’s simplistic style. Now teams are sitting back and making Leicester be the team that pushes up the pitch and is vulnerable to the counter attack. Which is showing that Jamie Vardy isn't very talented as a scorer and he really uses his pace at times? In Conclusion, without the element of surprise, I can't see Leicester winning many games and everyone on that team has been found out for being a few one season wonders.
Question Two: Are Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy That Good?
The answer is "eh" I know this is a strange answer but it's true, I have been saying this all season, Jamie Vardy is fast but is one dimensional and Riyad Mahrez is a lazy player who is also self-centered and has proved that this season. To be more than half way done with the season and for the two of them to have combined eight goals and four assists is AWFUL for two players who were praised for being such "class" players last season. I also blame the media for this, if this an Arsenal, Spurs (we saw it with Harry Kane) or any top six clubs these two players would be slated but once again we see a Leicester bias by the media which is why not many mutual fans are attacking these two. Two of the biggest disappointments this season.
Should Claudio Ranieri Be Sacked?
This is the hardest one of the answer of all of them. Firstly, you need to point out that last season at the same point of the season (25 matches played) Leicester had 32 more points, a +39 better goal differential and sixteen places higher. Obviously, the drop in form isn't all his fault but as the manager, he will/should take the blame. For Leicester to decide whether or not to sack him they need to ask themselves two questions, "has he lost the locker room?" And "is there anyone who is jobless who can do a better job than he is right now?". If the answer is yes to either of these questions, you need to sack him because you need at least five games for any manager to instill his tactics (and usually more) so you need to do it now. This is football, being relegated is a huge blow for the club on the pitch and more importantly financially. You need to be thankful for what he did last year but it's a business if you can get a quality replacement you drop him ASAP.
Please note, learn from Newcastle and Crystal Palace STAY AWAY FROM PARDEW
Will Leicester Get Relegated?
In my opinion, yes they will. There are six teams in the relegation fight, it is Swansea City, Middlesbrough, Leicester City, Hull City, Crystal Palace and Sunderland. With Swansea looking a lot better of late, Boro having consistent goal scorers and even Hull City playing well which three teams are worse off than everyone else? It's Leicester, Sunderland and Crystal Palace. Leicester haven't scored in over a month, seriously, if you are a Leicester fan how could you be confident at all.
19. Crystal Palace
Will Leicester stay up? If you were the chairman of Leicester would sack Claudio Ranieri? Leave a comment with what you would do!

Nashville Predators @ Columbus Blue Jackets - [-165]
The Columbus Blue Jackets host the Nashville Predators in what is going to be a close game and an amazing watch for every fan of the sport. Looking into the game that numbers are staggering, the Blue Jackets lead the Predators in each of the four major team stats and most of them by more than five rankings. One of the biggest factors to look at in this game is the record of the Blue Jackets at home against opponents from the Western Conference. They are 7-3-1 against the opposite conference at home and are 10-2-1 when the odd makers put them as favorites against the West. Nashville, on the other hand, are average away from home against the Eastern Conference as they are 5-3-5 and are a solid 4-3 as underdogs against the East. This game will be close but all of the numbers are pointing to a Blue Jackets victory.
Boston Bruins @ San Jose Sharks - [-108]
Bruce Cassidy's Boston Bruins (Still sounds strange) go to California and go up against the defensively dominant San Jose Sharks. The Sharks have been amazing this season against the Eastern Conference at home as they are 8-2-1. The Sharks also have been so much better over the last 10 games as they have a better record, a higher average goal tally, average shots per game, power play goals, and both special teams percentages. I see this game being a bit easier to call than the Columbus, this is a lock. The numbers are speaking and they are saying "The Sharks will win".

The MLS is getting ready for their new season as it's one of the best times of the year. The days where some of the MLS teams drop their new jerseys. I love new kits, everything from the sponsor to those embarrassing photos they take of the players fake cheering. Out of all of these jerseys, there are three that are not just nice but drop dead gorgeous. We are here to tell you the three to look out for for the up and coming season.
Three: New York City FC - Home
NYCFC go into this season revamped without Frank Lampard who was murdered by the Red Bulls on Twitter. They also go into this season without cult hero Josh Saunders between the pipes not making saves for the team. Onto the jerseys, these are lovely, they have the classic Adidas kit with the colors of the New York City flag. To have a jersey that does not just look good but also has some historic value for the city is awesome and even as a Red Bull supporter, I can respect. Sadly, two were just a bit better.
Second: Atlanta United FC - Primary
It's the first season for Atlanta United and they started with a bang with some of the finest jerseys we have seen in the history of the MLS. They modeled them off of the old style Metro Stars Jersey but with a cleaner finish with a hint of AC Milan gold. Once again, Adidas did one hell of the job to get all of the finishes and details of the shirt and logo perfectly. Just because of the jerseys I will go out on a limb and say Atlanta will make the playoffs this season. Look good you play good, always remember that.
And Now This, God Damn, this team has the IT factor.
First: Orlando City SC - Primary
Okay, this is just a sexy fucking jersey. It doesn't matter who you support but this purple with the gold and white details is straight fire. This is just the perfect jersey, with the cool design in the purple, the gold shoulders just make it looks different yet not too out there. I just can't wait to see this in the flesh or on TV because it is just different from most MLS jerseys. I want to keep this short so I will just finish with WOW. Kaka has never looked better.
