West Ham are a relegation contender without Dimitri Payet
With West Ham going into their new stadium this was supposed to be their breakout season as they bought players like Andre Ayew and Sofiane Feghouli but they showed yesterday that if Payet doesn't play this team won't win many matches. If he was to get injured, I think West Ham could creep down the table and maybe get into a relegation scrap.
The #WengerOUT brigade isn't going anywhere.
With losing against Liverpool and now looking like Arsenal might not make the summer splash that the fans have been begging for, The Arsenal crowd is even more divided than ever before. Even though many sports teams can still do great things even with a bad relationship with the fans and manager, Arsenal's supporters have directly contributed to losses as they boo the team and manager and yell at Arsene Wenger during the matches. Any sensible Arsenal fan should realize that Wenger is one of the best managers in Premier League history and once he leaves they can have a David Moyes/Manchester United transition, and we all know how badly Arsenal fans would take that.
Ronald Koeman seems like he can get Everton back on track
Ronald Koeman seems to be dealing with the loss of defender John Stones well as he made two fantastic signings in defender Ashley Williams and the skillful Yannick Bolasie. Coming into the season, his primary mission was to make sure they keep hold of Romelu Lukaku and to make sure they can get the best out of English youngster Ross Barkley, which after game one he seems more motivated as he was tracking back and even scored a gorgeous free kick goal from 30 yards out. It may be too early, but Everton fans should be very excited for this and the up in coming seasons.
Leicester may just be a mid table club
I know I might be jumping the gun here but Leicester City are the FIRST champions to lose the first match of the season, and they did it against one of the worst and most dysfunctional clubs in Premier League history. Jamie Vardy looked subpar and missed multiple chances that a top striker should score, Mahrez looks disinterested, and the defense had AWFUL communication with Kasper Schmeichel. The only bright spot was younger Demarai Gray who looked fast and was the only one that seemed to be working until the final whistle.
Diego Costa is still doing Diego Costa things
Once again Diego Costa shows why he is the most hated man in the Premier League with another action that should have shown him a red card. But for some reason, the officials are too afraid to act on his dirty play and just let him run wild. I still can't believe anyone hasn't punched him yet. Top 3 Biggest Cunts on earth.
