The Champions League group stage starts this Tuesday, and I thought I would give you guys a great treat and do my famous "Premier League Parlay" blog but now with the Champions League. We will have one for the Tuesday and Wednesday matches to give you even more chances to make some money during the week.
Paris Saint-Germain F.C. vs Arsenal F.C. - (-107)
PSG has started the season in poor form as they only have seven points in four games and sit seventh in the Ligue 1 table. Even though league form is important, I actually wouldn't put too much into this because PSG knows the league is still and mostly likely will be theirs for a while. On the other side, Arsenal is sixth and could fall to seventh tonight with an Everton win, so they haven't started too well either. They are coming off a win over Southampton in their last match, but they were far from convincing in that game as they needed a last-minute penalty to beat an out of form Saints side. The reason I'm choosing PSG because all around they are a better team than Arsenal and since this match being played in France, PSG will want to win and start turning their season around. I think it will be close but with rumors that Koscielny may not play I think Arsenal will not be able stop PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
Arsenal Predicted XI:
Cech, Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Xhaka, Cazorla; Sanchez, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Giroud.
PSG Predicted XI:
Trapp; Meunier, Silva, Marquinhos, Motta; Matuidi, Verrati, di Maria; Moura, Cavani, Ben Arfa.
Prediction: 2-1 PSG
Manchester City vs Borussia Mönchengladbach - (-230)
As Manchester City come off an incredible victory over bitter rivals Manchester United they play at home to German side Borussia Mönchengladbach. Even though Mönchengladbach has great players like Christoph Kramer, Thorgan Hazard, and Patrick Herrmann they don't have enough to stop this high-flying City squad, and their coach said that Sergio Agüero would play against the German side, and maybe even İlkay Gündoğan. For these reasons, I can't see Manchester City losing this game and will keep their 100% win record with Pep Guardiola.
Manchester City predicted XI:
Bravo, Clichy. Otamendi, Stones, Zabaleta, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Silva, Sterling, Agüero, Nolito.
Sommer, Christensen, Janitschke, Wendt, Herrmann, Johnson, Kramer, Strobl, Traoré, Raffael, Stindl
Prediction: 3-0 Manchester City
Atlético Madrid vs PSV Eindhoven - (-107)
Atlético Madrid takes the trip to the Netherlands to play against PSV Eindhoven which will be a tough match for last years runners up. PSV has shown in years past they are always a tough team to beat in Europe, and I think they can give the Spanish club a hard time. The biggest factor for me is can Atlético's midfield supply the ball to their star man Antoine Griezmann. The players to watch out for is Yannick Carrasco for Atlético Madrid and for PSV, Andrés Guardado. Both of these players will need to step up and play at their best if their team wants to win this match. I think this is the game that can easily end in a draw or a shock victory, but I think Atlético Madrid will just have enough to get the win.
PSV Eindhoven predicted XI:
Zoet, Arias, Willems, Moreno, Isimat-Mirin, Guardado, Propper, Hendrix, Narsingh, Pereiro, De Jong.
Oblak, Juanfran, Savic, Godin, Luis, Niguez, Gabi, Koke, Carrasco, Gameiro, Griezmann.
Prediction: 1-0 Atlético Madrid
Even though these teams are all favorites, this is still a great bet because IF you bet $20 you will get $109.25 in return. I promise you this parlay WILL work, and we will have another successful one for Wednesday.
