After putting it all on the line with my Uruguay pick, we are back with another winning pick for Monday as Belgium will go up against Cinderella story Japan. As always we will have the odds and every detail to get you ready for this big mid-day fixture.
Belgium (-1.25) vs Japan
Japan +1.25: (-105)
Belgium -1.25: (-115)
Going into this match there are a lot of storylines, first will obviously just be Japan. Being apart of the group of death with four teams who could really have gone through on paper. Now they will try to show the world they deserve to be in this place as the only reason they are here is that they had less yellow cards than Senegal. Belgium on the other hand goes into this game with three wins from three as now Romelu Lukaku is second favorite to win the Golden Boot behind MY PRESIDENT, Harry Kane. One big statistic to look in this game is the difference of offensive firepower, in the group Japan looked pretty good defensively with only four goals conceded, but their attack was less than great with only four goals scorer. Belgium had nine goals in the group and even though they did have a much easier group, their attackers just look more and more confident with every game. More on firepower, I think this game will have a ton of goals, I think Belgium even with some top-notch defenders, need to attack to have any chance of winning this World Cup, Roberto Martinez (their manager) has shown consistently he isn't a very good manager and tactician when it comes to defending. Because of this, they will come out and just try to outscore and out skill this Japan, and they will. I think the spread of 1.25 is the ideal bet for this game.
Prediction: 4-1 Belgium
