The United States has had a pretty crazy fucking week. In the past 48 hours our entire Nation (some would say the world) is fighting with each other over how Donald Trump will do as a President. His first major task will be to make sure the boys in red, white and blue beat our CONCACAF bitter rivals Mexico this Friday. As this is the first game of the World Cup Qualifiers, this is a massive match, and we are going to make sure you are prepared and know everything you need to know to enjoy and of course, make some money.

Mexico National Football Team
This is the definition of a bounce back for El Tri, being the last serious game they played was a thrashing 7-0 at the hands of Chile. The squad may be suffering PTSD from Eduardo Vargas’ right foot, but that doesn’t mean Osorio’s boys haven't come to win. A quick glance at Mexico’s team shows no shortage of young and veteran talent. Starting in net is a tough call for Osorio as he has been rotating between the famous headband wearing Guillermo Ochoa and Alfredo Talavera, but either way, it shouldn't be the tale of the game.
How Can Mexico Win?
What we will be watching is Mexico’s left back position, as Miguel Layun, Porto’s most consistent player last year, will be battling with the unproven American youngster DeAndre Yedlin. This will be a constant battle of speed and strength as Layun will attempt to dish crosses into the box and Yedlin using his agility to cut into the middle. Moving up to the middle of the field show’s Mexico’s plethora of options in the midfield, a luxury that may leave players like Hector Herrera and Marco Fabian on the bench. One thing for sure is that Andres Guardado will be using his knack for passing and dribbling to feed G. Dos Santos and Chicharito all night. Depending on the formation Osorio employs on the evening, it could be very possible that we see Mexican Zlatan, Raul Jimenez in the starting lineup, but if not, expect him to get a late sub in to score something sweaty. One last thing, remember Carlos Vela? Yeah, the Arsenal boy who was chipping balls over the heads of keepers every weekend? He is back on El Tri, after a long feud with the Mexican FA. Now playing for Real Sociedad, the winger has found himself in rare form as of late. Most likely to find himself starting on the bench, Vela will be at his most dangerous late in the match. A matchwinner in the making? Only time will tell.
Mexico Predicted XI: 3-3-3-1
Talavera, Salcedo, Reyes, Moreno, Herrera, Marquez, Guardado, dos Santos, Fabian, Jimenez, Chicharito
United States Men's National Soccer Team
The United States on the pitch have a lot to look forward to. They go into this game with the perfect amount of experience and youth to play in their biggest match, not in a major competition. The major questions I have is will Tottenham youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers get a shock start as he has impressed not just Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino but also Jürgen Klinsmann. Another major question is will Sacha Kljestan get the start and show more on an international level how class of a playmaker and goal scorer he is. As an American, I feel very confident for this one.
How Can America Win?
This will come down to goals. America needs big performances from their strikers Bobby Wood and Jozy Altidore, and that will all start with the quality of passes coming from players like Sacha Kljestan, Christian Pulisic, and Michael Bradley. In saying this, the biggest factor will be the games of the U.S. two attacking fullbacks, DeAndre Yedlin and Fabian Johnson. Both have skill and tremendous speed, and they will need to be able to beat the Mexican defense, and with the U.S. having a tendency to play narrow, they will need to play as wing backs if the U.S. want success in this match.
America Predicted XI: 4-3-3
Howard, Yedlin, Birnbaum, Brooks, Johnson, Bradley, Bedoya, Kljestan, Pulisic, Altidore, Wood
American Win: +170
Mexico Win: +177
American Win: 13/8
Mexico Win: 13/8
This is a very easy bet, with the skill of both teams up front and both teams wanting the bragging rights, this will easily go the over, this will be an exciting end to end match and can become an instant classic.
Money Line: Prediction
America needs this win, after all of the bullshit and divide we have right now we need something can make us more unified then we are right now and beating our bitter rivals can do that. Since the U.S. are home that's exactly what we will do. Our team is not just experienced by fast and young and for these reasons I have to go to with a 3-1 United States Victory.
