After the Boxing Day fixtures where we predicted 7/10 matches correct, it's time for a quick turn around as we have games from December 31st and of course New Years Day. We are going back to the normal three-game prediction but of course, if you enjoyed the preview of all the games let us know by tweeting the site at DST_Tweets!
A.F.C Bournemouth vs Swansea City A.F.C. - (+154)
Bournemouth go to Wales and face the sorry Swansea City who have no confidence and now no manager. Besides the obvious, Swansea look pretty much doomed for relegation. Swansea is 18th in the Premier League in home form, and they are going up against a team that is in a modest 15th in away form. But the biggest factor for me is that Bournemouth have back Junior Stanislas who is their most influential player, and he had one of his best games last season in this exact fixture. This will be a dull match but, Bournemouth will win.
Bournemouth Predicted XI:
Boruc, Francis, Ake, Cook, Daniels, Gosling, Arter, Smith, Wilshere, Stanislas, Wilson
Swansea Predicted XI:
Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Mawson, Taylor, Britton, Cork, Barrow, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Llorente
Prediction: 2-1 Bournemouth
Manchester City F.C. vs Liverpool F.C. - (+215)
Everyone.... The wait is over. Sergio Agüero is back! The best striker in the Premier League is back from his four-game suspension and is ready to finish the year strong. Manchester City are monsters up front, with Agüero coming back, Yaya is playing well, Sterling and Silva both looking great on the wings and of course, Kevin De Bruyne pulling strings, they will murder this shit Liverpool defense. I say this to everyone who thinks Liverpool will win the league, offense sells tickets, defense wins leagues. Liverpool doesn't have a top 7 defense in this league which is worrisome. For the neutral this game will be fantastic, it will be end to end but does anyone believe Lovren and Klavan can stop that front line? Not a chance.
Manchester City Predicted XI:
Bravo, Sagna, Otamendi, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernandinho, Fernando, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Augero
Liverpool Predicted XI:
Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Lallana, Mane, Origi, Firmino
Prediction: 3-2 Manchester City
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. vs Watford F.C.
Tottenham is coming off an incredible win versus Southampton on Wednesday, and now they go to Watford as they are trying to recreate their amazing victory they had last year at Vicarage Road. Tottenham have so much going for them at the moment; Toby Alderweireld is available, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and even Moussa Sissoko are all in amazing form and of course, their amazing defense and goalkeeper. When many people look at Tottenham they usually over look how important their Left-back Danny Rose is who has turned into easily the best in the Premier League at his position. The width and pace he gives Tottenham is too much for any team to handle and in particular against a Watford side who have an inconsistent defense and a very poor keeper in Heurelho Gomes. Tottenham at the moment is too good which is why this our DST Lock of The Week.
Tottenham Predicted XI:
Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies, Eriksen, Dembele, Wanyama, Son, Alli, Kane
Watford Predicted XI:
Gomes, Kaboul, Prodl, Kabasel, Zuniga, Guedioura, Capoue, Holebas, Amrabat, Ighalo, Deeney
Predicton: 3-0 Tottenham
