For a Tottenham fan, it was a pretty shitty weekend. It was so bad it completely ruined the greatest holiday of the year in Thanksgiving. First off, we drew to a Tony Pulis-less West Brom team and because Arsenal CHEATED (yes Ramsey dove) we are now out of the top four after a terrible two weeks in the Premier League. Of course, we also have Kyle Walker..to see a man doing so well after you created him hurts so much. It's like dating a girl and helping her become a super model and as soon as she gets famous...BOOM she leaves you. Now with my heart in a million pieces, we regroup for a slate of mid week fixtures as we take a break from the Champions League! We have two picks for this matchday as we are bound to have some fantastic matches!
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. @ Leicester City F.C.
Jesus, OASIS, and Erik Lamela, These are the three most anticipated returns of all time, and now one will be coming back as after a year out where he had a kid, the best right-midfielder in the history of Argentina is back as Erik Lamela will be traveling with the team. If you have watched Tottenham's last two games (sorry if you did), you could tell they were missing something, and that was directness, and the ability to open up the opponents defense, and that my friends, is what Erik Lamela does best. Now Spurs go to Leicester City as they will try to recreate their win last season at the King Power Stadium as they put six past the ex-Champions. Leicester haven't won a match in three Premier League games, and I see this streak going longer as Spurs away from home have been superb. Also, Harry Kane has a fantastic scoring record against the Fox's as he finally looks back to his best. With the form of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, I don't see this being a 6-1 thumping, but I think Spurs will win comfortably.
Prediction: 2-1 Spurs
Burnley F.C. @ A.F.C. Bournemouth
If you guys have read the site over the last two years, you know I love the Ginger Mourinho, Sean Dyche. While teams sack their managers for getting relegated, Burnley stayed #Loyal to their man as he built them back up and are now flourishing in the Premier League as they are an outside pick for a Europa League spot and are coming off a great performance against Arsenal where they were fucked over a point. Now Burnley try to stay in fifth in the away form table as they take on the struggling Bournemouth away from home! Bournemouth right now is 16th in the home form table which is just god awful. With 3/1 odds, you would be foolish not to bet a bit on the boys from North England.
Prediction: 1-0 Burnley
