Instead of doing the Premier Parlay we are back doing a full matchday prediction blog and giving you what the good and of course, the bad bets of this weekend. Get ready because we are in for a wild weekend of the Premier League.
Swansea City A.F.C. @ Liverpool F.C.
Swansea - (+1250)
Liverpool - (-450)
Draw - (+580)
With Tottenham and Manchester City playing the weekend, Liverpool at home to the worst team in the league is a game they CAN'T slip up. Swansea is coming off an AWFUL defeat to Arsenal as they lost 4-0 and Liverpool are coming off their 1-1 draw to rivals Manchester United. Liverpool is an offensive powerhouse with the most goals in the league this season. With how good they are at Anfield and how bad Swansea are in general, I see this being UGLY for the Swans. 4-0 Liverpool
Everton F.C. @ Crystal Palace F.C
Everton - (+135)
Liverpool - (+213)
Draw - (+237)
Everton is coming off their amazing victory against Manchester City as they won 4-0. Now they go to Crystal Palace and face Big Sam and the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship winners, Crystal Palace. Palace might have some skill players like most notably Christian Benteke but this hasn't helped at all, and they are stinking up the entire Premier League. The home team hasn't won since December 3rd (in the Premier League); and I don't need to explain to you how bad that is. When it comes to form, confidence, talent and just about everything, every part of my body is saying an away win. Everton to win 1-0.
Sunderland A.F.C. @ West Bromwich Albion F.C.
Sunderland - (+470)
West Brom - (-149)
Draw - (+276)
West Brom is having a pretty great year, but they are coming off an embarrassing defeat to new baby daddy Harry Kane and the rest of Tottenham Hotspur. For me this is pretty cut and dry, West Brom (shockingly enough) are a top 10 Premier League team this season as they usually have a tight defense and the most set piece goals this season. They now host Sunderland who looks like they are in a true relegation scrap this season. Pulis is an underrated manager; he won't let WBA play like they did against Spurs which is why I am going with a West Brom win. WBA 2-0.
West Ham United F.C. @ Middlesbrough F.C.
West Ham - (+223)
Boro - (+140)
Draw - (+217)
West Ham United are going through a weird stage as even though they won their last game 3-0 against Crystal Palace, they still don't have Dimitri Payet as he has demanded to leave the club. Since then Payet's car was vandalized, and he was kicked out of the teams WhatsApp group. I think in the long haul this will hurt West Ham but going up against the newly promoted Middlesbrough this can be tough because they do have Álvaro Negredo who is extremely dangerous. The only issue I have calling this game is even though Boro are good they aren't very good at home, but West Ham is average at best away from home which is why I see this being a close and tight game but it will end in a 1-1 Draw.
Manchester United F.C. @ Stoke City F.C.
Manchester United- (-165)
Stoke - (+500)
Draw - (+300)
This is a game that has the making of an upset. Manchester United have had issues in the past at Stoke and how good Stoke looked last week my brain is leaning towards a shock win. Then I remember there is NO more inconsistent club in this world than Stoke City. One week they are banging in goals with Marko Arnautović and Xherdan Shaqiri on fire, but then the next week they suck and get completely battered. If Stoke could fix this issue, I think they will easily be a top 10 team, but sadly, they don't so with how motivated Manchester United will be to win after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool I see a close win for Manchester United. 2-1 to Manchester United
DST's Game of The Week!
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. @ Manchester City F.C.
Tottenham Hotspur - (+250)
Manchester City - (+115)
Draw - (+245)
It's the big game of the weekend! It's second place Tottenham Hotspur against fifth-place Manchester City as it's make or break time for Pep Guardiola. With everyone starting the year saying City would win the title, that has completely turned an 180 as Bravo looks awful and Manchester City might not make top four, and now Pep has decided to attack the media. Even though Jan Vertonghen is out for six weeks, Tottenham goes into this game with high hopes as they haven't lost to them in their last three matches (all wins). Especially after last game where Tottenham didn't even have Harry Kane and just completely demolished them. With how bad John Stones and Claudio Bravo have looked of late, I think Tottenham will exploit that with their high press and scoring ability from everywhere. This will be a fantastic match, but Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham team will win. 2-1 Tottenham
Watford F.C. @ A.F.C. Bournemouth
Watford - (+370)
Draw - (+268)
Bournemouth host Watford in what will be one to miss this weekend as both teams aren't in the greatest of form. I spoke about on Wednesday, with how poor Watford's striking partnership of Deeney and Ighalo have been, I think this will be completely impossible for Watford to win this game on their form. I do believe Watford will set up to get the point and I think with Eddie Howe's poor defensive tactics and now losing Nathan Aké, I think that can be a tough transition which is why I am going with a 1-1 draw.
Burnley F.C. @ Arsenal F.C.
Burnley - (+1445)
Draw - (+545)
This is one the easiest games to call this entire season. Arsenal is hosting Burnley who have ONE POINT all season away from home which is the worst in the league. With Alexis Sánchez, Olivier Giroud and Alex Iwobi all on amazing form, I think Burnley won't be able to stop any of Arsenal's forwards. This is going to be a complete domination, Burnley may go the entire season without winning a game away from home, that's how bad they have looked. If you play daily fantasy, I would hammer Arsenal players. 4-0 Arsenal
Hull City A.F.C. @ Chelsea F.C.
Hull - (+1650)
Draw - (+620)
Chelsea host Hull City in what will be another blood bath. Chelsea is on fire as they looked amazing in their 3-0 win. Even without Diego Costa they still have Eden Hazard, Willian, Pedro and they are even getting goals from their wing-backs which should fix the issue of not having the Spanish Striker. This will be a big game for Chelsea's summer signing Michy Batshuayi, as he hasn't started well but now going up against a very poor team in Hull this is a huge opportunity go start banging in the goals. The league domination will stay on with a 3-0 Chelsea win.
Leicester City F.C. @ Southampton F.C.
Leicester - (+390)
Draw - (+245)
It's been a disappointing year for Leicester City as they might be the first Premier League Champions ever to get relegated the year after they won the league. With Vardy playing poorly, Mahrez at the African Cup of Nations, Musa who is inconsistent and a back line who isn't as structured as it was last season, I can't see Leicester going to Southampton and winning especially with an inform Virgil van Dijk leading the backline for Southampton. On the other hand, Southampton hasn't won since the 18th of December in the Premier League which is why against the ex-champions, I see Claude Puel setting up his club to get at least and point and that's exactly what they will get. 1-1 Draw
