Third Star: Gabriel Jesus - Manchester City F.C.
Gabriel Jesus had his long-awaited first start in the Premier League against West Ham United as the Sky Blues won 4-0. Jesus started at striker over Sergio Agüero as he had one goal and one assist. Jesus had two shots, a 77% pass completion, one key pass and two victorious ariel duels. He ended the match tied for the highest Match Rating with 8.4 and received his first of many Man Of The Match Awards. With Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham dropping points, this win can help get Manchester City back in the Top Four race.
Second Star: Gylfi Sigurðsson - Swansea City A.F.C.
Gylfi Sigurðsson was the hero Swansea needed to climb the table as Swansea beat Southampton 2-1. Gylfi who was being linked away from the Welsh team stayed and once again had a world class performance. Sigurðsson had a goal and an assist and was just overall great. He had two key passes on a 66% passing percentage with two successful take-ons. To have these stats with only 43% possession is amazing. The Icelandic international ended the match with an 8.8 Match Rating and a Man of the Match.
First Star: Eldin Jakupović - Hull City A.F.C.
Eldin Jakupović was amazing in Hull City's spectacular 0-0 Draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Swiss keeper was the reason Hull got the point as he had amazing saves against Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimović. He had six saves, and one caught cross in this match, the highest match rating with 8.5 and even held the second most possession on the team. With Sunderland getting a draw, Crystal Palace and Swansea both getting wins, for Hull to get the point after all of the drama that has been going on with their form and Ryan Mason was incredible.
