Hey, guys, I want to apologize for getting the "Three Stars of Sunday" out so late into the day (or early Monday in some places). I have been stuck on a stupid train the whole day, and it's been hard to make some content. Now on to the fun stuff, it was another great day of Premier League football, and we had some pretty great individual performances. Hopefully, your favorite player will be lucky enough to grace this list (unless you are a Stoke fan, you guys are shit).
Third Star: Jordan Pickford - Sunderland
Jordan Pickford was Man of The Match against Tottenham today even though his team Sunderland lost. Pickford made eight saves and had an 8.35 match rating and honestly deserved a lot better rating than that. The Sunderland defense was lost in this game and if it was another keeper in goal Spurs could have been up by three by halftime. He probably would have had a clean sheet if it weren't for Papy Djilobodji's mistake 4 yards in front of goal.
Second Star: Étienne Capoue - Watford F.C.
Étienne Capoue has been on fire at the start of the year and kept that going with another Man of The Match performance but this time against Premier League giants Manchester United. Capoue didn't just score a goal but he also absolutely dominated Paul Pogba and the Manchester United midfield like the overrated fucks they are. Even though he was known to be kind of a bad apple at Spurs I always love seeing players kick the shit out of the big clubs so keep on swinging Étienne.
First Star: Andros Townsend - Crystal Palace F.C.
Another Ex-Tottenham player is making us proud as Andros Townsend was at his best as Crystal Palace killed Stoke City. Andros Townsend had an incredible weak foot goal and was the player that made Crystal Palace tick. He thoroughly deserved his Man of the Match and rating of 8.82. If Townsend can stay healthy, I think he is going to have a fantastic season and could keep Palace up.
If I left someone out tweet us at @DST_Tweets! Thanks for being patient.
